Workshops, Classes & Walks
Digital Photography 101. Hands-on, small group workshop designed to help photographers at the beginner level. With emphasis on taking your camera off "Auto" and tips on how to use your camera to “make” great images not just "take" them.
Digital Intermediate. How to get images off your camera and into the computer. With emphasis on the different photo editing software that is available.
Digital Workflow. Learn what to do with images once they are on the computer. Develop a more efficient work flow and learn professional techniques to get the most out of your digital darkroom. A laptop loaded with Photoshop or Photoshop Elements is required. Instructor works from a Mac laptop.
Digital One on One’s. Personal one-on-one with Judy, tailored to you, at location of your choosing.
Photo Walks. Disposable cameras, digital cameras film cameras and even Smartphones are all welcome. The walking tour is approximately 2 hours long and usually covers less than a mile. Some Photo Walks combine historic commentary along with creative photography tips. Participants capture amazing photographs at sunrise or sunset in local or regional coastal settings.
Digital Photography Expeditions. Photo Expeditions to great locations with other adventuresome photographers in small groups. Destinations include Islands in our Bays, Preserves, Farms and State Parks. Some expeditions might require overnight stays. The day or days begin with sunrise shooting and will be full and fun-filled.
Photo Scavenger Hunts. Participants are given a list of items, then set out, in teams or alone, to find said items. Rather then collecting items, participants collect photos. Looking for a great activity for the family or a group of friends? A photo scavenger hunt gets people working and laughing together, requires little equipment and has room for lots of creativity.
